INTERNATIONAL SALES MANAGER (Trade Fairs & Exhibitions) in Madrid, SPAIN (m/f)
Our client is one of the world’s leading trade fair organizers. Due to the exponential growth of their solid Spanish branch, we are looking for a Sales Expert to promote their services to attract exhibitors and to optimize clients´ experience in their worldwide trade fairs.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Identification and attraction of potential exhibitors and visitors by the promotion of the services for International Trade Fairs in the Automotive, Transportation, Mobility & Logistics industries.
Sales: Direct contact with potential clients (both from existing leads and cold calls), follow-up and services presentation. Cross-selling.
Meet and assist exhibitors and visitors, providing a close customer care and support during preparation and at the event as well.
Marketing & Market Research: Identify new prospects. Prepare, send and follow up newsletters / emails.
Visit potential exhibitors in other international trade fairs.
Education: Sales or Marketing related academic titles.
Experience: International Trade, Import/Export or Sales experience in Automotive, Logistics and / or Transportation industries. Market research.
Technical skills & Knowledge: General Business, Technical and Market knowledge of the Automotive, Logistics and / or Transportation sectors. Proficiency in IT tools and Data Analysis. Ability to search and process information.
Languages: Fluent English & Spanish. German is a plus.
Personal & Soft Skills: Results-oriented. Proactive, dynamic, self-motivated and mature professional, with excellent relationship, communication and interpersonal skills. Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances, to a different range of people and industries, able to work within a team but also independently. Strong ability to prioritize, to plan and organize his/her own workload. Able to work under pressure. Willing to travel.

Salary & Conditions: Permanent Contract (Probationary Period). Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm. Attractive Salary conditions (Basic + Bonus depending on Performance)
Travel involved: Frequent business trips, both national & international. Short stays (2-3 days).
