“China & ASEAN: the challenge of the world’s largest market”.

Within the cycle of free workshops to support internationalization “Alcobendas around the world”, organized by the City Council and the Spanish Association of Foreign Trade Professionals ACOCEX.

Date: Thursday, January 28, from 5 to 7:30 p.m., at the Business Center (c/. Ramón y Cajal, 5).

The workshop will start with a presentation of the China & ASEAN markets and will address the great business opportunities that exist for Spanish companies. ASEAN is the third most populated market in the world with average annual growth rates of 5%. Success stories in the agri-food distribution and tourism sectors will be presented, emphasizing the enormous potential of exporting services to this region of the world. It is possible! Finally, it will be explained how to negotiate and buy in the area without falling for the “pig in a poke” and how to secure contracts in order to do business safely. The workshop will end with a question and answer session and individual meetings with the speakers, upon request.

ACOCEX organizes a series of international conferences together with the City Council of Alcobendas to help companies in the municipality in their internationalization. ACOCEX has signed a collaboration agreement with AIR CHINA, through which ACOCEX members will benefit from corporate fares on all its flights.

AIR CHINA is the state-owned airline of the People’s Republic of China and the second largest commercial airline by revenue. It is the flag carrier and the only airline with the national flag on its entire fleet; it is currently the only airline with a direct flight between Spain and China.
